She is a 3 year old sow.
Red fur / coat.
Weight : 25 kilos.
Origin: Peruvian.

She is tremendously affectionate and is always happy to be in the presence of people.

In the picture Fine is very much in pig !!!

She possesses a sweet character and she wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Kaya, is a red & Brown sow.
She is of a Peruvian breeding line.

She is years old and weighs  
Ze is 4 jaar oud en weegt 24 kilos.

A super lady with an excellent character.  



“Spiky”  is our very First pig.

He is a hog (castrated boar), excluded for breeding as we found him too large for it, although he remains our darling. He’s such an excellent pig.

Spiky is sometimes a little dominant, though very loving and affectionate.

Another sow. She’s a real softy and has a very sweet personality.
She is very tolerant but shows quite clearly disapproval if she doesn’t like something in particular.
Also she is very affectionate. 



“Knut”

Our intact boar, thus the father of all our piglets. As his name insinuates he originates from Kiel (north of Germany by the Danish boarder). We drove so far especially because he possesses very specific characteristics, which we desired to encounter in him; unfortunately not noticeable in this picture. He’s a little shy, but he approaches us when he is begging for hugs. Never frightened by anything and sometimes even a little sly.

And here she comes, our first real Kunekune:  Mika v.d. Willco State Awakino :

Her herdbook name is Mika v./d. Willco State Awakino 6. We expect her to grow to be an adult sow of approx. 55 kgs.  She was already very tame, people oriented en toilet clean since her birth. 

Mika is our 1st. Kunekune but definitely not our last one.  In the Autumn of this year 2010 we are expecting our second gilt of an another bloodline and who knows when we might be tempted to go for a third one ... ?! 

This means that we are the first official breeders in Belgium of this ravishing breed of pigs.  It it all progresses alike planned we expect our first litter with Mika in the second half of 2011.
